The pitter-patter of rain is the soundtrack for this picture of an upturned boat I found nestled in the grass near Crummock Water. The reflection of the grey sky on its weathered paintwork fascinated me. I was getting soaked but I didn't care; in this little spot I was going to make a picture and I didn't mind how long it took. Luckily my waterproof map holder made the perfect rain shelter to stand on top of my camera whilst I composed and focused the picture. To my delight a brief spell of sun hit Mellbreak (the fell in the middle of the picture) and created some depth in the scene.
