Fishing for Light
I spent two evenings trying to photograph this wonderful view of Side Pike. On the first occasion it rained heavily and I returned to the car rather despondent and disheartened. I had just a couple of evenings left in the Lake District so I spent one of them trying this shot again. I got there early as I knew the sun would disappear behind neighbouring mountains well before true sunset. It was a good job I did as the sun only came out for a few minutes, allowing me to take this picture.
