Autumn on Marrow Hill
After a long day of clear blue skies I wasn't expecting much drama or colour at sunset. I had walked the length of the drove road at Triscombe in search of autumn foliage, which had mostly been blown from the trees already. As the afternoon drew to an end cloud began to form to the west, eventually building to a beautiful formation interspersed with patches of clear sky; the perfect formula for photography. A lone hawthorn tree on Marrow Hill caught my eye and was the subject around which I composed the rest of the scene.
