Emmett's Hill, Dorset

Emmett's Jewel

Emmett's Hill had been on my list of places to visit for some time. I'd seen a few photos of its rocky outcrops and the magnificent view along the cliffs of Dorset. I was very lucky with the weather when I visited; the sky had started completely cloudless, devoid of any drama, but became more interesting as the afternoon came to an end. At around 3pm some big rain clouds rolled in from the west bringing hale and rain with them. Shortly after they'd passed the sun returned, bathing the view in gorgeous light and leaving a few interesting clouds overhead.
