I am a photographer from Somerset, UK, who specialises in landscape and travel.

I started business in 2007 taking pictures predominantly of Glastonbury and the surrounding countryside. I also explored neighbouring counties photographing the different landscapes: the coastline of Dorset and the moors of Devon. I enjoy travelling so I gradually built up a collection of pictures from many parts of the UK and, eventually, Europe too.

I sell my images through agencies such as Getty and Alamy. I publish my own greeting cards which are sold in shops throughout Somerset. I also work on commissions, with past clients including VisitBritain and Clarks Shoes.

How I got into photography

My route into the photography world started when I was in the last year of studying for a degree in Packaging Design. I spent part of my student loan on a Nikon D70 and from there I was hooked. Most of my skills have been gleaned from trial and error plus some reading and learning from fellow photographers. My background in graphic design plays an important role in how I compose pictures.
