A short but heavy downfall of snow briefly turned Somerset white. I spent as much time outdoors with my camera as I could, photographing any locations that I could safely reach. Rowberrow Warren looked brilliant because it is high up on the Mendip Hills. During my visit I saw no other footsteps, just pristine snow that delicately picked out the shapes of the tree trunks.
