Mynydd Troed, Brecon Beacons

Foot of Heather

Mynydd Troed is one of my favourite mountains in the Brecon Beacons. Its location away from the main peaks of the national park means it receives fewer visitors than landmarks such as Pen Y Fan. I took this picture from the slopes of its neighbour, Mynydd Llangorse. The contrast between purple heather and lush green foliage made a pleasant sight.
