The Great Bell of Coniston

The forecast on this summer morning was not promising; it was warm and hazy and due to be quite cloudy. Around an hour after sunrise I was surprised to find that the sun was breaking through the clouds. The cloud level was quite low, cutting off the tops of the fells surrounding the Bell and making it seem like a bigger outcrop than it is.
