Crook Peak, Somerset

A Wavering Storm

Light was fading fast as I took this image. I had been waiting for the sweet spot: the point at which the light was intense and the sky was interesting. Moment by moment I could feel the approach of wet weather as spots of rain brushed my face and the wind grew more intense. I knew that if I waited too long the sun would disappear altogether and probably wouldn't emerge again that day. But held on I did as the clouds appeared to slowly piroutte in the sky and form a pleasing composition.
