Solitary Stance
This lone tree on Yarley hill, Somerset, has been a favourite subject of mine for a while. On foggy mornings its prominence in the landscape becomes magnified and it seems like an island in a sea of white. The light on this morning was as perfect as I could hope for, creating many layers of subtle colour.
