An Edge of Autumn
This footpath on the edge of Stockhill Woods features some lovely Beech trees which it seems were originally planted to create a picturesque pathway. I wonder what was on the minds of the foresters responsible for this arrangement, and whether they envisaged that it would look like this one day. I visited as the autumn leaves were at their peak, creating a beautiful orange, yellow and green riot of colour.
