This view of Glastonbury Tor, on the edge of the village of Westhay, is one I have passed thousands of times on the way to Wedmore or Cheddar. It was during one such trip early on an autumn morning that I was motivated to stop and photograph the scene because the mist rising from the river Brue created a special atmosphere. I used my longest telephoto zoom lens to hone in on the river and Glastonbury Tor in the distance. The church at neighbouring Meare is visible just beyond the treeline before Glastonbury Tor.
