The Autumn Twist of Triscombe

The drover's road at Triscombe is one of my favourite locations on the Quantock Hills. I like to visit in autumn when the trees change colour. In particular, this small collection of beech trees has gnarled branches that seem to twist upward in a striking way. Timing is important on the Quantocks because an autumn storm can quickly remove all of the leaves from the trees.
